Eider house for people - 2 beds

'Eiderhouse for pople' are 20 specially built small cabins that take care of Vega's history and character in a very special way. The cabins are inspired by the eider business that has characterized the Vega Islands for hundreds of years. The Eider houses has a simple standard and a spectacular location with fantastic views of the sea, the sunset and the island Søla.

The Eider houses consist of one room with enough space for 2 people, and you will of course have made beds and towels. The E-houses are 9 m2 with two single beds of 2 m x 90 cm which can easily be strapped together to form a double bed. Good mattresses with mattress toppers and down duvets. There is also a light point inside, a 4-way socket and a 500 W heater. And of course both shelves and pegs for hanging clothes. There is no room for extra beds, but children under the age of 8 can stay overnight with their parents for an additional price of NOK. 300 per night.

The cabins are uninsulated, but have installed a heater. They have their own veranda with solid wooden furniture. They are located directly above the farm of Base Camp Vega, where parking spaces, a restaurant and the sanitary facilities are available to those staying overnight.

The price for renting an eider house is NOK. 1,900 for 1 night in the summer season and NOK. 1.500 in the spring and autumn season. Overnight stays after the first night cost only NOK. 1.000 per night. The prices are independent of whether you are 1 or 2 persons.

Ærfuglhus no. 5, 16 and 20 are slightly more expensive due to their extra good location, but overnight stays beyond 1 night also cost only NOK. 1,000 per night.
