Sleigh ride in winter wonderland

Enjoy a romantic sleigh ride in the beautiful surroundings in Lykkja with views of Mount Skogshorn and the big frozen  lake Tisleia. We offer a cozy ride with torches and jingel bells through the winter landscape. The ride lasts appx 30 minutes and when we come back to the farm there will be served a nice hot cup of gløgg (Norwegian non alcoholic glühwein) by the fire place.

Each sleigh fits 5 persons,  

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Price: NOK 1800 per sleigh.  Max 5 persons per sleigh (Children below the age of 2 can join on the lap of an adult) if you don't find enough places please contact us. If you only are 1-2 persons we some times can book you in for nok 1000,- you are not guaranteed an own sleigh. To book that please contact us at info@hemsedalaktiv.no
• Location: from Haugen Gård, Lykkjagutu 28, Hemsedal. About 35 min drive from Hemsedal Centre. 
  
• Transportation: not included. Can be arranged upon request. 
• Meeting time at the stable: about 10 minutes before departure
• What to wear: warm clothes - you will be sitting still in the sleigh for about 30 minutes, so make sure you have clothes according to the weather and temperatures. We have blankets we will wrap you in with, but you still need have good shoes and clothes / beanie/ gloves etc. 
• Season: from November - April. Check the calendar for availability, and contact us for additional times and dates. 

The sleigh ride is a 20-30 minutes tour, and warm drinks around the fireplace afterwords.
