Atmospheric Sleigh Ride

With the sound of jingling bells and cozy campfires, enjoy a delightful old-fashioned sleigh ride! What sets the Christmas mood better than a ride with horse and sled, listening to the jingle of the bells as the horse moves, with torches as the only light in the evening twilight?

We offer a charming ride with our beautiful fjord horses around the pond and into the woods. Before and after the ride, you can enjoy something warm in your cup around the campfire, either in the yard or at the shelter by the pond, creating memories together.

Sleigh rides are available every weekend from 4 PM to 5 PM, weather permitting. The ride lasts about 15 minutes.

There is room for 4 in the sled (5 if there are small children).

Before/after the ride, enjoy the cozy fire in the yard.

You can also book a ride at the reception when you arrive.

Price: 220 NOK per person

Important to remember: Dress warmly! There are blankets in the sled, but it can still get a bit cold.

This activity depends on sufficient snow and may be canceled if there isn’t enough.

Did you know?
In the old days, the Sunday trip to church or to visit for dinner was a grand affair. The horse would be groomed, the sled polished, and everyone would dress up to "show themselves" around the village.
