User agreement

For product purchased through Visitnesbyen.com or Nesbyenbooking.com, hereafter referred to as"Visitnesbyen.no".

Payment and prices

Our prices are quoted in NOK. The full amount is due at the time of the reservation. VisitNesbyen reserves the right to send demands above the agreed rate, should this be necessary. Please note that in case of non-payment the reservation will be canceled. Due to your reservation, you will see what's included in the price. At most cabins you must bring your own linens (can also be rented at some cabins) and other consumables.

Reservation/confirmation

A booking, either it happens in writing, via online booking/email or orally is binding. A written confirmation of the reservation will be promptly sent to the tenant. The person or the company in which name the booking is registered on is economically responsible for the rental agreement, i.e. for possible damage claims, if something should occur during the stay.

Cancellation

Unless otherwise specified in the description of the accommodation, the following applies: Once the tenant has paid and confirmed the booking, the agreement is binding.

The owners of cabins and holiday homes have chosen between 3 cancellation terms as a fixed rule for their accommodation. This cannot be changed by the tenant or visitnesbyen.no.

  • Hotell*:Tenant can cancel or change their stay within 2 days prior to arrival at a charge of 5% service charge.
  • Flexibel:Tenant can cancel or change their stay within 14 days prior to arrival at a charge of 5% service charge.
  • Moderate:Tenant can cancel or change their stay within 30 days prior to arrival at a charge of 5% service charge.
  • Strict: Binding. No cancelation / changes possible.

VisitNesbyen is a hiring agent

Visit Nesbyen lets cabins and holiday homes, and do not own the objects. Visit Nesbyen manages the rental relationship. • In the conformation, you will recieve an e-mail description of the accommodation, description of the contents and directions, as well as contact details for check in/check out, final cleaning, and linen rental. Please note that seasonal facilities are not necessarily available throughout the year. The holiday home is equipped for the numbers of persons that are stated in the description on the website.
• Unless otherwise is mentioned the period of tenancy starts on the day of arrival at 4 pm, and ends on the day of departure at 12 am.

• At most cabins, the final cleaning can be ordered at extra cost. Even if the tenant has ordered final cleaning, the unit must be left tidy, the dishes must be taken, benches washed and the garbage must be emptied.

• Unless otherwise is mentioned, electricity is included in the rent. Firewood is included in the price, for some accommodations - this is described in the confirmation.

• The tenant and his/hers travel companions are obligated to follow any house rules/regulations given, instructions found in the unit for various implements, and otherwise maintain peace and order.

• Pets are only allowed where it is particularly stated in the presentation of the accommodation. The tenant is obliged to inform about pets on request/order by e-mail to info@nesbyen.no

VisitNesbyen takes reservations for errors in the description of accommodation units and the prices stated.
Some accommodations offer bed linen and final cleaning. The services are not included in the price, but can be rented separately at the time of reservation.

Deficiencies

Any damage or deficiency noticed on arrival should be reported to visitNesbyen as soon as possible. The tenant may require full or partial refund for serious deficiencies of the accommodation reported not later than 24 hours after arrival. VisitNesbyen assesses and, if necessary, requirements and determines whether a refund will be granted.

Force Majeure

VisitNesbyen is not responsible for rental agreements in case of natural disaster, epidemic illnesses, closed border traffic, stop in sale currency or any other form of force majeure.

Privacy

When making a reservation you will need to register with your e-mail address, name, address and telephone number. This information is provided to the owner of the product you buy or rent. The information is only used to contact you regarding the product if needed.
