Annebu, cozy family cabin

Welcome to the newly renovated and cozy cottage in quiet and peaceful Grønhovd. The cabin is approx. 75 square meters, and has three bedrooms and a small annex with extra sleeping places and a small dormitory kitchen.

At the cabin you will find:

• Entrance with space for outerwear and shoes.
• Open kitchen/living room solution. There is seating for 6 in the living room/living room. Sofa, table and chairs.
• Combined fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, waffle iron and toaster.
• Seating for 5 around the dining table.
• TV with Norwegian channels
• Fireplace with wood included.
• Bathroom with toilet, shower, washing machine and dryer.
• Large terrace with outdoor furniture and fire pit.
• Shack/annex with sleeping space, oven, sofa, hob, small fridge and a kettle. 

Beds:

The cabin has 6 (9) ordinary beds in 3 bedrooms and 1 annex:

Cabin.: 1 bedroom double bed

             1 bedroom with 2 (or 3) beds in a family bunk (width 120 cm below, 90 cm above).

            1 bedroom with 1 (or 2) beds (120 cm)

Annex: 1 bedroom with 1 (or 2) beds in a single bed (90 cm) and extra mattress on the floor.

Good to know:

• Electricity of up to NOK 300 per week is included in the rent. All consumption above this will be invoiced after the stay.
• Firewood are included in the rental price.
  
• The road is plowed all the way to the cabin
• Space for three cars next to each other in the driveway. 
• The cabin has a power outlet for charging an electric car.
  
• Wet laundry can be dried on a drying rack or in a tumble dryer.

The Grønhovd area 

Grønhovd in Nesbyen is located at 950 meters above sea level and is surrounded by slightly hilly mountain terrain with several smaller peaks. This is a popular recreation area with lots of cabins, ski- and hiking possibilities. The main ski trail in the area passes the cabin.

Summer time:

Nes Nordmark has several good fishing lakes, including Mykingsjøen, Grønhovdtjern, Olfisken and Holmevatn. There are also several small lakes that are known for good trout fishing. In the areas around Myking you will also find many trails and several old dirt roads that are nice to both walk and bike on. Nesbyen is ranked by many as one of the best bike destinations, particularly among those with a taste for challenging trail riding.

Winter time: From the cabin, all you have to do to walk for miles along the trail network is to strap on your cross-country skis. The trail network in Nesbyen has many alternatives, so before you take the trip out on the trails, it may be worthwhile to go to skisporet.no to plan the trip. How about Hallingdalsløypa, formerly known as Eventyrløypa, for miles of prepped trails from Geilo and all the way to the cabin. Or find your own favorite among one of the other trails in the area.
