Payment and booking

Activities booked online are valid for the selected date and are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or availability due to technical issues.

Meeting time and place

Meeting time and place will be specified in the booking confirmation.
Participants must arrive on time to ensure the activity can be carried out as planned.
Late arrival may result in reduced participation and does not entitle the customer to a refund.

Equipment

All necessary equipment will be provided where applicable.
Participants must not adjust or remove safety equipment without approval from an instructor.
Participants are responsible for returning all equipment in the same condition.
Loss or damage caused by negligence or misuse may be charged.

Clothing

Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing.
We recommend:

• Clothing suitable for weather conditions
• Shoes that fit securely
• Additional clothing and water if needed

Instruction and safety

All participants must follow instructions given by the instructor or guide at all times.
Participants are responsible for:

• following instructions
• informing staff if they feel unsure
• requesting assistance when needed

Failure to comply may result in removal from the activity without refund.

Health and safety

Participation requires normal physical condition.
The activities are not recommended for individuals with:

• heart, lung, back or neck conditions
• or for pregnant participants

Weight limit (where applicable): 120 kg
By participating, you confirm that you are physically fit for the activity.

Liability

Participation is at your own risk.
Aktiv Fritid Tjøme AS has liability insurance through IF Insurance, covering legal liability for damages caused by our operations.
This does not exempt participants from responsibility in cases of negligent or intentional behavior.

Booking on behalf of others

The person making the booking confirms that these terms and conditions are accepted on behalf of all participants, and that all participants have been informed of the contents prior to the activity.

Alcohol

Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during activities.
We reserve the right to deny participation without refund if this is not respected.

Weather and cancellation

Activities may be carried out in varying weather conditions.
If weather or other conditions make the activity unsafe, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel.
In case of cancellation, payments will be refunded.

Force majeure

Aktiv Fritid Tjøme AS is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural events, fire, or other unforeseen situations.

Right of withdrawal

According to Norwegian law (Right of Withdrawal Act §22), the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities provided on a specific date or within a specific time period.
