GEILO HUSKY HALFDAYTOUR

One of our most popular tours for those who want a longer dogsledding experience, are the half-day tours. The experience takes a total of 3 hours, with 2 hours of actual dog sledding. The tour goes on a technically easy track in Skurdalen, with a fantastic view towards, among other things, the Hallingskarvet.

During the trip, you have a break with a hot drink and a snack that your guide brings. The experience is what we call "harness on to harness off". Here we show how to put on the harness, put on dogbooties, feed the huskies, you are shown how to drive a sled and much more.

Where: Frydenlund Lagerhotell, Skurdalsvegen 681, 3580 Geilo

When: From end of December to end of March. Available tours can be found in the calendar.

Time: 3 hours experience, of which approx. 2 hours are actually dog ​sledding.

Clothing: Dress according to the weather. Wool on the inside, windproof on the outside, and good winter boots. If you are unsure, there is room to bring extra clothes. We do not have extra clothes for rent.

Price: NOK 2500 for adults from 12 years, NOK 2000 for children 3-11 years, 0-2 years free

Minimum number: Minimum 2 places booked in total.
