Description

Travel back in time

Join us on a trip to our norwegain summer far, aslo know as a seter, and experiance the mountain life as it was in the olden days.

Join us and the goat hers, along with the "kløve"horse up to the seter. Once up at the farm, you'll be able to help make charcoal sticks - what people used to draw with in the old days. You'll make juniper eggs, milk cakes and homemade cheese - what does it taste like? Inside the farmhouse, you'll gather for a storytelling session about farm life in the past. Otherwise, you can play in the stream, play with goats and horses and play around in the beautiful area.

The walk up goes through an old pastoral landscape with four farms that were used from 1725 until the mid-1900s. It's a 1.5 kilometre walk from the farm at Langedrag. If you need to wheel a pram or for special reasons need to drive up, there is a gravel road all the way up to our farm. Use of a car must be agreed with us.

OBS! We need a minimum of 10 guests to be able to do the activity. If there is not enough participants we will contact you regarding different dates or time.
