User agreement

The user agreement applies to products purchased via Nesbyenbooking.no, Visitnesbyen.no or Airbnb.com, hereafter referred to as Nesbyenbooking.no.
Booking of Activities and Events
- Registration: To purchase tickets, you must register as a user on Nesbyenbooking.no.
- Payment Terms and Prices: Prices may be adjusted without prior notice before the booking is confirmed. We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors. Prices are stated in NOK, and the total amount is payable upon booking. Failure to pay within the deadline may result in the cancellation of the agreement. The booking is binding once payment is completed and approved.
- Receipt: A receipt, along with tickets or a confirmation, will be sent to the email address provided.
- Agency Service: Nesbyenbooking.no acts as an agent for ticket sales on behalf of the event organizer, who is your contracting party and responsible for the event or activity. Any questions regarding the agreement must be directed to the organizer. The organizer's name is provided in your order confirmation.
- Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure (such as war, strikes, natural disasters, or epidemics), both the seller/agent and the buyer may cancel the booking without liability for non-performance. The seller/agent may claim compensation for necessary costs already incurred that cannot be refunded unless otherwise agreed.
Booking of Accommodation
- Registration: To book accommodation, you must register as a user on Nesbyenbooking.no.
- Payment Terms and Prices: Prices may be adjusted without prior notice before the booking is confirmed. We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors. Prices are stated in NOK, and the total amount is payable upon booking. Failure to pay within the deadline may result in the cancellation of the agreement. The booking is binding once payment is completed and approved.
- Booking and Confirmation: The order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
- Cancellation and Changes: Unless otherwise specified, the cancellation policy provided in the description of the accommodation applies.
- Nesbyenbooking.no as Agent: Nesbyenbooking.no acts as an agent and does not own the rental units. In circumstances beyond Nesbyenbooking.no's control, the agreement may be canceled, and the amount paid will be refunded. In the case of breaches by the tenant, including damage to the accommodation, the rental agreement may be terminated without a refund.
- Illness/Accidents: The tenant is responsible for any costs related to illness or accidents during the stay. Travel insurance is recommended.
- Use of the Accommodation
- The number of people in the accommodation must not exceed the number specified in the description.
- Check-in is from 16:00, and check-out is before 12:00 unless otherwise agreed.
- Even if final cleaning is ordered, the accommodation must be left tidy; dishes must be done, tables cleaned, and trash removed.
- See the accommodation description for details on what is included, such as electricity, firewood, bed linen, and other amenities.
- We reserve the right to correct any errors in the description of the accommodation or the listed prices.
- Damage or Loss: The accommodation must be treated with care. The tenant may be held financially responsible for any loss or damage to buildings or furniture during the rental period. In the event of damage or loss, Nesbyenbooking.no will facilitate communication between the owner and tenant to help them reach a fair solution, usually through a direct cash settlement. If the parties cannot agree, both the owner and the tenant may seek legal resolution.
- Missing Amenities: If there are any issues with the accommodation, the tenant must report them immediately to Nesbyenbooking.no. Serious deficiencies may entitle the tenant to a refund if reported promptly, not resolved within a reasonable time, and if they cause significant inconvenience. Refund claims must be submitted in writing within three days of departure.
- Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure (such as war, strikes, natural disasters, or epidemics), both the seller/agent and the buyer may cancel the booking without liability for non-performance. The seller/agent may claim compensation for necessary costs already incurred that cannot be refunded unless otherwise agreed.
Privacy: When booking, information such as name, address, email, and phone number is collected. This information is only shared with the owner of the booked product for necessary contact.
