Description
The 2024 season has come to an end! Thank you for an amazing season with nearly 9,000 registered passings. The trail remains open, but FjellLinken will not resume transport to the summit until June/July 2025. See you next year!
Experience Norway's longest family-friendly bike trail, spanning 17 km. The "FjellLinken" bus transports you and your bike from Nesbyen center to the start of the trail. Walkers without bikes are also welcome on the bus.

Prices and Family Discounts 2024
- Adults: NOK 250
- Children (0 - 16 years): NOK 175
- Discounted family price for 2 adults and 2 children:* NOK 700
- Discounted family price for 2 adults and 3 children:* NOK 820

Ticket
When you book, you will receive a receipt with a reference number by email. Please bring a copy and show it on the bus (print or mobile). Companions travel for free with a companion certificate.
Departure Point
The bus departs near Sport 1 Nesbyen (see photo above). Please arrive well before departure. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Parking is available here for those cycling the HallingSpranget trail.
Smart Tips for a Better Cycling Experience
- Lower your seat on downhill sections (for better control over obstacles and terrain variations).
- Use both brakes (preferably no more than 2 fingers on the brake lever).
- Stand centered on the bike (keep the pedal arms parallel to the ground when not pedaling).
- Remember repair equipment (e.g., patch kit or extra tube, pump, tool for adjusting the seat post).
Other Information
- Changes: Up to 2 days before, free of charge.
- Cancellation: Up to 4 days before, minus 5% service fee.
- Fully booked departures are not shown.
- Booking on-site is also possible (payment via Vipps), but we cannot guarantee available seats.
- There are no stops between town center and Hallingspranget.
- Important! The shuttle trailer cannot transport fat bikes.
