New, family friendly cabin with all you need for a cosy stay. Activities for children and adults. Pets are welcome too. The cabin is between Flå and Nesbyen.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival, minus a 5% service fee.

Regarding animals: Well-behaved dog allowed, but not a puppy.

Regarding final cleaning: It can either be booked (please check this option when making your reservation) or done by the tenant themselves. A detailed cleaning instruction will be included with the booking confirmation and must be followed carefully.

New, family friendly and cosy cabin with all amenities, located in a peaceful environment. The cabin is situated midway between Nesbyen and Flå, just a 2-hour and 15-minute drive from Oslo. Right by the cabin, there are machine-groomed cross-country ski trails or even Haglebu ski resort only 10 minutes away by car. with the pleasant Haglebu Fjellstue nearby where it is possible to enjoy a nice meal or just a snack. When it is not the winter season, you can enjoy beautiful hikes, swim, fish, visit amazing parks such as Langredrag and the Bear park etc. In other words: lots of activities to enjoy all year round.

The 80 sqm cabin is new, has electricity, underfloor heating and running water. It has 2 floors, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and in addition, a separate toilet with sink. Open kitchen/living room layout and a big loft.

• The living room has a sofa group with seating for 5-6 people.
• The dining area comfortably accommodates 6 people around the table.
• Practical and modern kitchen equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
• Loft with TV and sofa (can be used as a sofa bed).
• WIFI connection
• Fireplace (firewood is included)
• One bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and a washing machine. Additionally, there is a separate toilet with a sink.
• Indoor storage for hanging outdoor clothes and drying shoes and mittens.
• Outdoor storage for skis and other equipment.
• Terrace with a sofa group that can be used in the summer.
• All sleeping places have pillows and duvets.
• Guests must bring own bed linen/towels.
• Final cleaning can either be booked (please check the appropriate box when placing your reservation) or carried out by the tenant. A detailed cleaning instruction will be included with the booking confirmation and must be followed carefully.

Sleeping arrangements:

The cabin has 6 regular sleeping places divided in 3 bedrooms.

• 1st floor: Bedroom 1: A single bed that can be converted into a double bed (160*200).
• 1st floor: Bedroom 2: Bunk bed with 2 sleeping places, one upper and one lower (90*200 each).
• 1st floor: Bedroom 3: Master bedroom with a double bed (180*200).
• 2nd floor: Open loft with a sofa bed (145*200).

The cabin has 6 duvets and pillows. The duvets are sized 200 x 150 cm.

Remember to bring:

• Bed linen (if  you wish bed linen to be provided, please book in advance.)
• Towels (if you wish towels to be provided, please book in advance.)
• Consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand and shower soap, washing powder etc.
• Coffee capsels for Nespresso coffee machine

Summer:

The area invites many activities in summer and fall: mountain hikes, fishing trips, golf, horseback riding, cycling, hunting, paddling (rental of canoe/boat at Haglebuvannet), climbing park/zipline, Bjørneparken in Flå, and Langedrag Naturpark. Nesbyen is also rated by many as one of Norway's best cycling destinations, especially for those who enjoy challenging mountain biking trails.

Winter:

From the cabin, you can easily put on your cross-country skis and explore the machine-groomed trail network. Make sure to check skisporet.no to plan your trip. Haglebu ski resort is just a 10-minute drive away, while the lager alpine resort Norefjell is approximately 40 minutes away. Both offering ski rental.

Other Information:

There is a small shop at Haglebuvannet (10 minutes from the cabin). The nearest gas station is in Bromma, approximately 10 minutes from the cabin. If you want a shopping trip, both Nesbyen Kjøpesenter (20 min.) and Bjørneparken Kjøpesenter (25 min.) are easily accessible by car. The nearest bus stop is in Bromma, 10 minutes from the cabin.

We had a fantastic stay! The cabin is beautiful, clearly recently built, and not heavily used. The host was very helpful and provided a baby crib and high chair for our one-year-old. Unfortunately, we had little snow during our stay, so we had to drive a bit to go skiing. However, with enough snow, there’s no need to go anywhere as the area is perfect, with plenty of cross-country trails.

The surroundings are stunning, and there’s great access to nature. The only thing to note is that the host uses Nesbyen Booking for renting out the cabin. While they respond quickly, their answers weren’t as detailed or helpful as if the host had answered directly. We were also missing one duvet in the cabin, but this was resolved since there were plenty of blankets available. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time and can recommend this place to anyone (with or without children) looking to escape the city to enjoy nature and tranquility.

We stayed in the cabin for one week early December.  We were lucky to have both nice and clear weather and a couple of days fresh snow which gave us a beautiful view of the area in the mountains. The cabin was super, cosy and very well equipped.  Everything  we needed was there.  It was very well located in a beautiful and very quiet and peaceful area, just what we were looking for. Anne was extremely helpful. We regularly had telephone contact and everything was well organised.  Her advice was very much appreciated. A place to recommend!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin in Feb 2023 during the school holidays. Arriving from Ireland this stunning cabin surrounded by snow and pine forests, was just magical for us. The cabin itself is gorgeous, really well finished, really warm, beautiful floor to ceiling windows everywhere with awesome views of the surrounding vista. Thanks to the host and owner Anne who made us so welcome and organised everything perfectly for our arrival ! 

This cabin is all modern, luxurious and really well finished, with every comfort needed for a break away from busy life. The area is well set up for cross country skiing and has some lovely walking routes. There is a handy large supermarket a short car ride away, with everything we needed so we could enjoy eating all our meals in the beautiful dining space. The stove was so cosy too downstairs, and I love the separate upstairs TV area. Many thanks to the host and we will be back again for sure!
