About the cabin:
Welcome to Nedre Mykinghøgde in a newly built, state-of-the-art Eikås cabin, type Skogshorn, customized for the owner. The cabin is situated just below 1000 meters above sea level in scenic surroundings with views of, among other things, the ski slopes in Nesfjellet Alpin, the Hallingdal Alps, and Såtenatten. There are excellent opportunities for hiking and skiing right outside the door. The highest peak is Dyna (1212 meters above sea level) with a 360-degree view.
The 160 sqm cabin was built in 2023 and has electricity and water. The cabin is on two levels, with 4 bedrooms and a loft lounge, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with a dining area, and a living room with a large, beautiful fireplace.
A large cozy living room with a specially designed fireplace, a dining room with a long table, a top-of-the-line modern Strai kitchen, three bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom upstairs, both bathrooms on the first floor, a TV lounge on the second floor, and an outdoor storage with a separate entrance. Terrace with outdoor furniture that can be used in the summer.
Seating for 8 people. The cabin has two living areas (downstairs living room and upstairs TV lounge). Billiard table in the TV lounge.
Around the large dining table, there is seating for 8 people.
The Strai kitchen is top modern with all equipment. Toaster, refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, waffle iron, Nespresso machine, and wine cooler.
Specially designed fireplace. Firewood included.
Bathroom 1 includes a large shower niche, sink, toilet, and sauna.
Bathroom 2 includes a shower, sink, toilet, and washing machine.
Both bathrooms are modern with tiled floors and showers, as well as underfloor heating.
TV connected to wifi, electricity, and firewood are included.
All sleeping places have a pillow and duvet.
Bed linen/towels can be rented or brought along.
The responsible tenant must be over 30 years old and personally present throughout the entire rental period.
Underfloor heating is installed in the kitchen, living room, hallway, and bedroom.

The cabin has 8 sleeping places distributed across 4 bedrooms.
1st floor: Bedroom with double bed 180x200. 2nd bedroom with double bed 160x200. 3rd bedroom with bunk bed 90x200.
2nd floor: 4th bedroom with double bed 180x200
Remember to bring:
Consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen towels, dish soap, garbage bags, coffee filters.
Bed linen and towels if you do not wish to rent.
The area:
Fantastic hiking opportunities both winter and summer, high in the mountains with magnificent views. Sunlight around the cabin from morning to evening.

For those who crave speed, it's not far to Nesbyen Alpine Center if you want to switch from cross-country to downhill skiing. This ski resort caters to all levels with many slopes of varying difficulty.

Directions

From Nesbyen: Take Rukkedalsveien from Nesbyen towards Tunhovd, turn right at the sign towards Myking (toll booth). Follow Mykingvegen and turn right just before Myking kolonial, drive up and turn right at the sign pointing to Mykingtoppen, continue straight ahead onto the area until you see the cabin on the right side (with two Røros red cabin doors), where the road splits.
Normally, the road is cleared all the way to the cabin.
Parking for three cars on the property.
