Welcome to Ranten in the picturesque Myking at Nes Nordmark, and to the entire beautiful mountain area around Nesbyen in Hallingdal.

This is a comfortable and inviting cabin apartment on the ground floor in beautiful surroundings, 980 meters above sea level.

The apartment complex is connected to Ranten Hotel with a restaurant and bar in the building. Parking is available in the common courtyard, where you'll also find a 5 m2 outdoor storage shed available for the apartment's guests.

The apartment is on one level on the 1st floor, providing convenient and easy access from the parking area right outside the door. There are no stairs. Furthermore, it has one bedroom, a cozy living room with a sofa and dining area, a practical kitchen, bathroom with shower, entrance, and a veranda.

The living room comes with a TV with many channels, a comfortable corner sofa/sofa bed + daybed. Radio and many games for evening entertainment are available in the cupboard. The dining area seats 4 people. A high chair is available in the storage room and can be easily fetched. 

The kitchen is equipped with cutlery and tableware. It features a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, waffle iron, and dishwasher. 

Tiled bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, sink with cabinet, and toilet. 

There is a terrace at both the entrance and the living room. Two chairs with back adjustment and two simple chairs + a small round table are provided. Electricity is included.

The tenant can either book or handle the final cleaning themselves.

The apartment has 3 regular beds distributed in 1 bedroom + 3 beds in the living room:

* 1 bedroom with a family bunk bed (2 beds below and 1 bed above). Upper bunk 75x200, double bed below 150x200.

* Sofa bed that can be used as a double bed. Daybed for one person.

All beds come with pillows and duvets. 

Remember to bring:

Consumables such as toilet paper, candles, matches, shower gel, etc.

Bedding and towels if you do not wish to rent them.

Myking Area:

Myking is one of the oldest cabin areas in Hallingdal and consists of a combination of old mountain farms, as well as new and older cabins. It offers a fantastic view of Lake Myking and the surrounding mountains. There is immediate access to an extensive network of trails. Charming Myking Kolonial is located in the heart of Myking and is a traditional local grocery store.

During the summer:

Nes Nordmark has several good fishing lakes, including Myking Lake, Grønhovdtjern, Olfisken, and Holmevatn. There are also several smaller lakes known for good trout fishing. In the areas around Myking, you will also find many trails and old mountain roads that are pleasant for hiking and cycling. Nesbyen is ranked as one of Norway's best cycling destinations, especially for those who enjoy challenging mountain biking.

Winter Time:
