LODGING AT THE MOUNTAIN LODGE:

The mountain lodge can only be booked in conjunction with booking horseback riding tours with Vassfaret Horseback Riding.

After an eventful day in the mountains, what could be better than relaxing at Engene Mountain Lodge with freshly baked "sveler" (traditional Norwegian pancakes) and a cup of hot coffee? Engene Mountain Lodge has an open café and offers accommodation.

With 24 bed spaces divided into six rooms with two beds and three rooms with four beds, the mountain lodge offers a cozy and practical residence for adventurers. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, an inviting dining room, and a lounge where they can relax after a day outdoors. It's the perfect way to extend your adventure in Vassfaret, whether you're seeking the tranquility of nature or want more days of riding.

Important Information: Please note that you will need to share the cabin and bathroom with other guests. However, you will always have a bedroom to yourself and with the people you book with, and will not share bedroom with strangers.

Buvatn Brygge is a stone's throw away from the mountain lodge, offering:

- Rental of rowboats and canoes (life jackets available in the outhouse)
