Einarbu – basic cabin in great hiking terrain

Cancellation policy: Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival will be refunded, minus a 5% service fee.

This cabin is ideal for those looking for budget-friendly accommodation and don’t mind basic facilities. There is no electricity or running water, but a solar power system provides lighting and allows charging of small devices. Heating is provided by a wood stove.

Facilities:

• Open-plan living room and kitchen
• Propane for cooking
• Propane-powered fridge (only available in summer)
• Root cellar for food storage (located in one of the bedrooms)
• Three bedrooms with bunk beds
• Toilet room with a closed system (lime/sawdust)
• Terrace with bench

Sleeping arrangements:

• Three bedrooms with bunk beds
  • Two rooms have a wider lower bunk
  • One room has only narrow beds
• Six sleeping spaces, each with a pillow and duvet (guests must bring their own bed linen)

Important information:

• No electricity or running water
• Heating by wood stove only
• Guests must bring all necessary supplies: water for all use, bed linen, toilet paper, paper towels, candles, matches, firewood, fire starters, kitchen towels, dishcloths, dish soap, and trash bags
• Guests are responsible for cleaning the cabin before departure. The cleaning will be inspected after check-out, and inadequate cleaning will result in an additional cleaning fee. Bring enough water for cleaning.
• Toll fee applies for access
• In winter, the road is plowed to the gate. The final few meters to the cabin must be shoveled by the guest.
