FILM og FOREDRAG: Saga Farmanns - vikingenes handelsskip
Saga Farmann er på vei mot vikingenes Miklagard Istanbul. Imens kan vi dykke ned i historien om det originale Klåstadskipet, om brynesteinsemnene det var lastet med og steinhandelen fra Eidsborg i Telemark. Men først og fremst: i arbeidet med å bygge en tolkning av Klåstadskipet i Tønsberg.

Description
Ann Coates has filmed the construction of Saga Farmann since 2015. The ship is the film’s main character. The film depicts the driving force of the Viking shipbuilders, big visions, strong wills, time pressure and burdensome financial responsibility. She also tell’s the story of the original ship, and sheds light on the Vikings’ peaceful activities as shipbuilders, traders and explorers.
