User agreement

For product purchased through Liapark Resort AS, hereafter "the provider".

1. Prices

1.1 The provider reserves the right to change prices in the event the State's provisions with respect to fees are changed. When fees are changed, the lessor automatically has the right to change his/her prices with respect to offers that have been made and offers that have already been booked.

2. The rental arrangement

2.1 The booking order is binding on the parties once made in writing, orally or electronically (by means of the Internet, e-mail or a mobile telephone text message). Electronic confirmation of the booking will be promptly sent to the lessee.

2.2 In the event of online booking, the stay is confirmed and paid for online with a credit card.

3. Payment terms and conditions

3.1 When a leasing agreement is entered into, the provider will send confirmation of this to the lessee.

3.2 Payment should be done immediately after booking. If the lessee have any problems making the payment the lessee must contact the lessor immediately. Invoice payment are subject to own conditions.

3.3 If the rental amount is not paid by the due date, the provider may cancel the leasing agreement. The provider considers lack of payment as breach of contract and the lessee does not have the right to demand performance of the contract.

3.4 Prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK).

4. The accommodation

4.1 The confirmation will contain the residential unit's name, a description of its contents and directions to it as well as contact information for checking-in and -out and the final cleaning.

4.2 The number of people living in the residence must not exceed the maximum number of people designated in the description. Should this number be exceeded, the lessor/owner may turn the number of people in excess away.

4.3 Check-in after 16.00. Check-out before 12.00. When checking out, the key must be delivered to the same place it was obtained.

4.4 The unit is to be vacated in a tidy state, dishes washed, tables and benches cleaned and rubbish placed in the nearest container for this purpose. The lessor/owner reserves the right to charge for the number of hours any additional costs related to this.

4.5 Electricity is included in the rent. Firewood is included in the rent for some units; this is noted in the confirmation.

4.6 The guest owe to treat the units and furniture so no harm or unnecessary scuff happens. If loss or damage happens at the building or at the furniture the guest due to pay the owner. Noise at the unit which is disturbing other guests/neighbours is forbidden and may lead to eviction. If eviction happens, the guest will not be refund the amount.

4.7 Pets may be allowed in some residence units and this is noted on the website, as well as in the confirmation. Certain units charge for dogs - the fee is to be paid on arrival and information about this is included in the confirmation. The lessee undertakes to inform about dog(s) when making enquiries/ordering.

4.8 The provider is not liable for errors in the unit descriptions or prices given.

5. Cancellation

5.1 Lessee's cancellation:
All bookings are final and can not be canceled. Lessee must immediately notify the lessor if the they can not use their reservation. The lessor can then attempt to rent the unit to someone else. If this is possible the lessee will get back up to 90% of the invoice total. We recommend having a travel insurance that will cover these costs..

5.2 Lessor's cancellation:
The provider can terminate the agreement in the following instances:

5.2.1 The lessor/owner can require the lessee to leave if the lessee mismanages or neglects the unit, or disturbs public law and order. In such cases, the provider has a right to compensation, in addition to the rent and deposit, amounting to the total expenses incurred. Any extra expenses in connection with travel home shall be paid by the lessee.

5.2.2 Checking-in takes place after 16.00. Should unforeseen events make the unit uninhabitable, the provider will endeavor to find alternate accommodation. The provider will endeavor to find the best possible accommodation, but nonetheless cannot guarantee the same standard. The lessee shall pay the same price, or less, if the alternate accommodation has a lower price than that originally booked.

5.2.3 If the lessee does not pay the rent by the deadline, the provider may cancel the agreement. In these cases, cancellation fees as mentioned in section 2 and 5 apply.

6. Force majeure

6.1 If the stay cannot take place due to force majeure (e.g. war, labor strikes, lockouts, rationing of petroleum products, closure of boarders, epidemics, natural catastrophes or contamination catastrophes etc.), both the provider and the lessee may cancel the leasing agreement. If the agreement is cancelled by the lessee, the provider can require proportional compensation for expenses related to the cancellation of the stay.

7. Illness/injury

7.1 The lessee must bear expenses related to illness/injury that are incurred during the stay. This also applies to outlays for any possible necessary transport of the lessee home. If the lessee's state of health is worrisome, the provider recommends that he/she visit a doctor before booking. We recommend that the lessee purchase cancellation insurance without excess. This may be purchased from an insurance company.

8. Deficiencies

8.1 Should there be problems or should anything be missing, the lessee shall get in touch with the owner/contact person given in the confirmation.

8.2 The lessee can claim compensation for residential unit deficiencies that have been reported no later than 24 hours after arrival if the deficiency is not corrected within a reasonable amount of time, and has inconvenienced the lessee during his/her stay. The lessee shall present a written claim/explanation to the provider within 3 days after departure to invoke a legal claim. If this is not done, the lessee loses the right to claim compensation.

9. Privacy

9.1 When ordering a stay, you have to enter e-mail, name, address and telephone number. The information is given to the owner of the product you are renting/purchasing. The information will only be used to contact you regarding the product/stay.

9.2 By using this website you agree that we may store cookies in your browser. "Cookies" - is a standard technology that virtually all sites uses today. Information we collect are used to make our website better for our customers. The information will only be used internally and will not be passed to others. We never store information that can identify you personally. If you use the "Remember me" or "Auto login" functions, a cookie will be stored so you can log in automatically.
