Opptur - modern and comfortable family cabin at Nesfjellet

Welcome to Solrenningvegen – a spacious and modern family cabin spread over two floors.
The cabin offers a bright and airy living space with an open-plan kitchen and living room – a natural gathering spot with plenty of room for the whole family. Large windows flood the space with natural light and provide stunning views directly toward the Nesfjellet Alpine Resort. There's also a cozy loft lounge that makes the perfect TV corner, whether for relaxing evenings or fun and games for the little ones.

The southeast-facing terrace overlooks the ski resort – a sunny outdoor area where you can enjoy the morning sun in summer and the afternoon sun in winter, right against the cabin wall.

Just outside the door, you'll find marked trails leading to mountain peaks and scenic lakes – ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. The golf course is also nearby. The cabin is located in the heart of Nesfjellet, a destination full of activities and nature experiences all year round. Scroll down for more information about the area.

Terms:
Minimum stay: 2 nights
Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, minus a 5% service fee.

At the cabin you will find:

• Open-plan living room with cozy sofa corner with space for 8, armchair and TV.
• The oak dining table has a bench and three chairs, with extra chairs available to seat up to 11 people. It comfortably fits 9–10 guests. 11 is also possible, especially with children on the bench, though it may feel a bit tight.
• There are also two bar stools at the kitchen counter, perfect for a casual breakfast or keeping the chef company while cooking.
• Kitchen with hob/stove, all necessary cups and dishes, kettle and fridge.
• Fireplace, firewood is included.
• Modern 65 inch Smart TV which is connected to a surround system.
• 2 bathrooms
• Loft with TV room with space for 5 people.
• Large terrace with access to barbecue, fire pit and outdoor furniture.

The cabin has 10 (11) beds in 4 bedrooms:

1st floor: 1 bedroom with 2 beds in a double bed (190 x 200 cm).

                1 bedroom with 3 beds in a family bunk (160 x 200 cm downstairs and 90 x 200 cm upstairs).

2nd floor: 1 bedroom with 2 beds in single beds (120 x 200 cm and 90 x 200 cm).

                1 bedroom with 3 beds in a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a single bed (90 x 200 cm).

Bed linen/sheets must be brought even if you do not rent this (above). All beds have new duvets (140x200) and pillows (50x70).

TV/Internet/Games:

The cabin has a fiber network. The TV has Chromecast and other apps available for use. Netflix, Strim, HBO Nordic, TV 2 Play, Viaplay are inside the TV. Below the TV you will find a TV bench which has, among other things, card games and board games.

Good to know:

• Firewood are included in the rental price.
  
• The road is plowed all the way to the cabin, but the last part between the parking lot and the cabin sometimes has to be shoveled.
• Space for three cars next to each other in the driveway. Space for 1-2 extra cars in the summer.
• Wet laundry can be dried on a drying rack or in a tumble dryer.

Summer:

• Hiking: Short way to a number of family-friendly mountain hikes in the high mountains with fantastic views. See Ut.no for maps and hike suggestions.

• Mountain biking: Nesbyen is one of the country's best places for mountain biking. The trail HallingSpranget (from Nesfjellet to Nesbyen center) is one of Europe's longest MTB trails. Mountain bikes can be rented in Nesbyen. See Trailguide.net for maps of the trails.

• Swimming: A number of waters and rivers in the area.

• Fishing: Lots of great fishing both in mountain lakes and in the Hallingdal river.

• Langedrag Nature Park: Fantastic zoo approx. 30 min from Nesfjellet.

• Nesfjellet Golf: 9-hole mountain course, with driving range, two practice greens and café / restaurant, located right next to the cabin.

Winter:

• Cross-country skiing: In Nesbyen you will find more than 450 km of groomed ski tracks in the high season! See www.skisporet.no for map and status.

• Nesfjellet Alpin: 6 lifts and 14 slopes. Scandinavia's most modern chairlift, ski rental, ski school and lovely food in the restaurant.

• Dog sledding: At Langedrag Nature Park you can join the huskies out for a run in the high mountains.

Places to eat:
Nesbyen center has a number of different restaurants. Nystølkroken Café on Nesfjellet is open all year round. In the winter you get good food at Nesfjellet Alpin, while in the summer you can enjoy the café at Nesfjellet Golf.

Remember to bring:

Consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels and the like.

Electric car charging:

A deposit is paid, and your consumption determines how much you get back or if there is an additional cost. You pay for your own usage.

The cabin and area are suitable for training sessions, couples and families. We therefore set an age limit of 25 years for rental. No smoking, but it is okay to bring a dog.
