About the Cabin

Welcome to our spacious and cozy log cabin, perfect for families and friends looking to enjoy the beauty of Nesfjellet. The cabin is idyllically located in Tverrlia, with a west-facing position and stunning views of the mountains. Here, you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings.

Location

The cabin is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, providing extra peace and privacy. You’ll have easy access to cross-country ski trails, hiking paths, and the Nesfjellet Golf Course. Nesfjellet Alpine Center is also nearby, perfect for those who enjoy skiing.

Interior and Amenities

• Kitchen and Living Room: Open and inviting kitchen and living area with space for the whole family.
• Bedrooms: Four bedrooms with a total of 12 beds.
• Bathrooms: Two bathrooms, one with a sauna.
• Outdoor Area: Large terrace with outdoor furniture, grill, and fire pit.
• Other: Fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, and dryer.

Activities in the Area

• Winter: Cross-country skiing and alpine skiing.
• Summer: Hiking, gravel and trail biking, fishing, golfing, berry picking.

The cabin has 12 beds (9 suitable for adults and 3 for children) distributed as follows:

1st Floor:

• Bedroom 1: Double bed (180x200 cm) + single bed (80x200 cm)
• Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed (120x200 cm) with space for 2 below + 1 above

2nd Floor:

• Bedroom 3: Double bed (120x200 cm) + single bed (80x200 cm)
• Bedroom 4: Double bed (120x200 cm) + single bed (80x200 cm)

Bedding and towels can be rented or brought by guests. All duvets are 200x140 cm.

Living Areas:

• 1st Floor Living Room:
• Dining area with seating for 12 + high chair
• Lounge seating for 7 + 2 comfortable armchairs
• 50" TV with sound system, selected channels, and Chromecast
• JBL Bluetooth sound system
• Fireplace with glass doors
• A good selection of board games

Bathrooms:

• 1st Floor Bathroom:
• Spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, washing machine, and dryer
• Large sauna with space for 4-6 people
• 2nd Floor Bathroom:
• Shower, toilet, sink with storage

The road is plowed up to the cabin upon notice of arrival. No toll fee. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway, and additional parking is available about 40 meters from the cabin. There is a charging station for electric cars with an approved charger, as well as an outdoor power outlet near the entrance.

The cabin has fiber internet with a code provided on-site, and a TV connected to fiber with selected channels and Chromecast.

Outdoor furniture, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill are available.

Important Information:

Rental is only available for families. The responsible renter must be over 25 years old and must be present at the cabin throughout the rental period.

Firewood can be purchased from the owner, 50 NOK per day. Vipps to 91193558.

Remember to Bring:

• Consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen towels, dishcloths, dish soap, garbage bags, coffee filters, candles, matches, fire starters, etc.
• Bedding and towels if you do not wish to rent them.

Ski in/out alpine skiing:

The cabin is located approximately 900 meters from the nearest alpine slope, Turisten. The walk there is a gentle uphill climb. The base station of the ski resort is about 2 km away, or a 4-minute drive. Skiing back to the cabin from Turisten is easy and convenient.

Ski in/out cross-country skiing:

Cross-country trails begin just 250 meters from the cabin, offering access to Nesfjellet's extensive trail network.
